Andy, that was a great breakdown and critique!

Yesterday I posted an article about the troubles with the big platforms, and one of my points was the nature of the layoffs indicated something has shifted and it's not going to get better.

Hearing your critique as a Google alum convinces me that this is an inflection point, and it is going to be very hard to stop the downhill slide. I can live with the demise of Twitter and Facebook, but Google has always been inspirational. Now its just another company squeezing out a quarterly profit.
